The employees of the hamlet 'Pastoor Biest' decorate a part of the Vaartroute with the traditional ornaments all day long. The hamlet 'Samen Sterk' decorates the inside and outside of the Basilica.
6.55 pm: In the evening, the opening of the Boxmeerse Vaart in the St. Peter's Basilica with the traditional ringing of the bells and the introduction of the Relic, escorted by the Holy Blood Guild and the Vaartmeesters.
20:00: 'Boxmeer sings the Vaart in it' takes place on Wilhelmina Square. Various choirs and music groups perform.

The Boxmeerse Vaart!
The Solemn High Mass takes place at 10:30 in St. Peter's Basilica. At 12:00 following the mass, bells will be rung and the Canal will leave the Basilica.

Treasure hunt for children. This way, children can still stay connected to the Boxmeerse Vaart in a fun way. The route is of course the same route that the procession normally takes. During this route, fun and educational questions are asked, with which the children can ultimately solve the big Vaart riddle. Of course, there is a small surprise at the end!
